When Do Badges Go On Sale?
February 26th 12PM Pacific time. Head to our badge registration page to purchase yours today!
Do I need a Cardboard Events Account?
If this is the first time you are using cardboard events, an account will be made for you when you buy a badge. This will be tied to the email address you use, so please use a real email address or you won't have access to the account.
Once you purchase a badge, you will receive an email with your login information and a link to the website. If you already have a cardboard account, you can access the site and your conventions here.
How Can I Access My Badge?
Make sure you are accessing the attendee site not the organizer site.
Can I Purchase for Someone Else?
Yes! Simply enter their name and email address on the registration page. Alternatively you can enter your email address and then transfer the badge later.
Can I Get a Refund?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds, however you can transfer a badge through the cardboard site from August 1st until August 30th, 2025.
I Wanted to Buy a Badge But They Are Sold Out
Leave us a comment in the Discord or via the Connect page. If there is enough interest, we will try our best to secure more space from the hotel and increase the number of badges available. The earlier we know to do this, the better, but there are no guarantees.
I Wanted to Buy a Magician or Gambler Badge but There are Only Drunk Badges Left
Unfortunately the Gambler and Magician badges are limited in number do to space limitations in the special games. You can still purchase the merchandise included in those badges from the cardboard store once you have a drunk badge.
Why Do Magician and Godfather Badges Close?
We need to give the venue final numbers for the Meet and Greet Reception and order the special merchandise for those badges in time for delivery.
When Does the Hotel Block Open?
Suites will be bookable on the Cardboard registration page or through the cardboard app on February 26th, 2026. Gamblers, Magicians, and Godfather badges will receive a link to the hotel block booking website (the only way to get our exclusive, discounted rates) on March 5th, 2026. Drunk badges will receive the booking link on March 19th, 2026.
Why Should I Book Through the Block?
We have negotiated heavily discounted rates and NO RESORT FEE. The only way to get these rates is to book through the room block website.
What are the Convention Dates and Times?
The 2026 Convention officially runs from 12AM Friday, September 25th to 11:59PM Sunday, September 27th. However there will be a pre-con kick-off reception for Magician, Godfather, and those who purchase it on Thursday, September 24th in the evening. Early registration will also open that evening, and some convention rooms will open at 6PM on Thursday for those who come early.
How Do I Join Events?
Pick-up games will be more easy to find/join this year based on the space layout. Scheduled event sign up will open up on the cardboard site as we get closer to the convention. We will announce exactly when through the newsletter, so check back as the dates get nearer.
Do you need volunteers and how do I sign up?
Yes! Our volunteers help make the convention a success. You can sign up through cardboard.
What's the time commitment for volunteering?
We ask for 12 hours of volunteer time spread over the three day con.
What do volunteers get?
All volunteers receive a complimentary badge so you can enjoy complete access to the convention when not on shift. You also get a volunteer t-shirt
