Badges
Do I need a Cardboard Events Account?
If this is the first time you are using cardboard events, an account will be made for you when you buy a badge. This will be tied to the email address you use, so please use a real email address or you won't have access to the account.
Once you purchase a badge, you will receive an email with your login information and a link to the website. If you already have a cardboard account, you can access the site and your conventions here.
How Can I Access My Badge?
Make sure you are accessing the attendee site not the organizer site.
The Discount Code Isn't Working, What Can I Do?
Make sure it is still valid for the item you are purchasing. Make sure to enter the code on the checkout page where it says Discount Code (not Affiliate Code). The codes are limited in uses so if it still doesn't work, it may be fully used up.
Can I Purchase for Someone Else?
Yes! Simply enter their name and email address on the registration page. Alternatively you can enter your email address and then transfer the badge later.
Can I Get a Refund?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds on badges, however you can transfer a badge through the cardboard site until September 30th, 2024.
I Wanted to Buy a Badge But They Are Sold Out
Leave us a comment in the Discord or via the Connect page. If there is enough interest, we will try our best to secure more private rooms from the hotel and increase the number of badges available. The earlier we know to do this, the better, but there are no guarantees.
I Wanted to Buy a Magician or Gambler Badge but There are Only Drunk Badges Left
You can buy the Drunk badge and upgrade to the badge you would like from the cardboard website. Magician upgrades must happen by September 20th, 2024.
Why Do Magician and Godfather Badges Close 9/20/24?
We need to give the venue final numbers for the Meet and Greet Reception by that day.
Hotel
When Does the Hotel Block Open?
As soon as we have the site link for the hotel, we will open up the block to Gambler, Magician, and Godfather badges. Two weeks later it will open to Drunk badges. Expect this to be before 4/30/24.
What's the Difference Between the Room Options for the Hotel?
The Block prices listed are for the hotel's run of house unrenovated rooms. If you would like to guarantee a room with 2 beds, the hotel charges $20 more per night. If you would like a renovated room, you can purchase that upgrade through the site as well.
Convention
What are the Convention Dates and Times?
The Convention officially runs from 12AM Friday, October 11th - 11:59PM Sunday October 13th. However there will be a pre-con kick-off reception for Magician, Godfather, and those who purchase it on Thursday, October 10th in the evening. Early registration will also open that evening, and convention rooms will open at 6PM on Thursday for those who come early.
